Main Switchboard Decal
The main switchboard statutory sign decal is a standard requirement for a variety of commercial and residential buildings, positioned on the door of the main switchboard.
In Australia, clear identification of the Main Switchboard is required to support safety and emergency access. AS/NZS 3000:2018 (Wiring Rules) requires the main switchboard to be legibly and permanently marked “MAIN SWITCHBOARD.” Where the main switchboard is located within a cupboard, enclosure, or room, the door or access point providing immediate access must also be clearly marked. If the main switchboard is not readily visible from the building entry, a durable and conspicuous notice must be installed at each entry likely to be used by emergency services, indicating its location. These requirements ensure the main switchboard can be quickly and safely identified.
The decal will be cut from a premium Avery polymeric film and is available in both black and white. Your decal will need to be in a contrasting colour to the surface upon which it is mounted, so please select wisely as these decals are not reusable.
