Accessible Entry Left Arrow Braille & Tactile Sign - Class Range
Accessible entry signs are used to show the location of an accessible entry to a building, generally via a specially-designed ramp or wheelchair lift. This version is a directional version of the standard accessible entry sign, which includes a left-pointing arrow. These are normally used where the accessible entry point is not immediately visible and basic wayfinding is needed.
The class range of braille signs offers a modernisation to the standard off-the-shelf style of braille sign seen at a range of suppliers. The standardised sizing allows these signs to be easily integrated into buildings with existing braille signs, with a slight aesthetic change through the series symbols.

Installation Information:
The installation of the sign must be between 1200mm and 1600mm above the floor or ground.
If the sign has a single line of characters the tactile characters must be between 1250mm and 1350mm above the floor or ground.
The sign must be located on the wall on the same side as the door handle, and the leading edge of the sign should be located between 50mm and 300mm from the architrave.
If there is insufficient space on the door handle side of the door the sign may be installed on the opposite side.
If it is not possible to install the sign on either side of the door the sign may be installed on the door itself.
